We are located in a central position if you are coming from/to The Carnarvon Gorge, Roma, St George, Chinchilla and Dalby. Chinchilla is approx 150 kms; Roma is approx 150 kms; Dalby is approx 180 kms, so why not take the road less travelled? We have a variety of accommodation options.
Our accommodation is set within the park. The accommodation rate includes admission fee. The property is a protected haven for both flora and fauna so pets are allowed only when kept under control at all times. No fires outside of the provided firepits.
Visitors can explore bushland trails, discover rare botanical specimens, admire roaming reptiles, mammals and birds, and immerse themselves in the history woven into the landscape. From stunning native flower displays to star-filled night skies by the fire, Myall Park offers a truly unique experience for nature lovers, researchers, and families alike.

Avochie Cottage
A self contained 1950’s renovated cottage offering comfortable accommodation with a wide cool verandah and an open fireplace for year round comfort. Sleeps 6 people – 4 single beds and 1 double.
Includes: electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, duvets, pillow, parking, outdoor furniture, bath/shower and deck.
Pricing:
- $120 per night for 2 people, extra $20 per person per night.

The Quarters
The Quarters is a renovated 1950s station building offering comfortable accommodation with cool verandah and open fireplace for year round comfort. It is a backpacker-style building with shared full kitchen and bathroom and toilet.
Includes: electric stove, microwave, large refrigerator, duvets, pillows, parking, outdoor furniture and barbeque upon request.
Pricing:
- $100 per night – Quarters room 5: large room with A/C, private bathroom, share kitchen.
- $40 per room per night – Quarters single rooms: share facilities and kitchen.

All sites are in a beautiful, quiet location. Toilets and showers available.
Camping Fees:
- Powered site $30 per night for 1 or 2 people. Extra people $10 each per night.
- Unpowered site $20 per night for 1 or 2 people. Extra people $10 per night.
- Children under 6 free.
- CMCA members (when membership card shown): $27.00 powered site, $18 unpowered.
